As this is a dynamic situation these new T&Cs may need updating as we go. You will be sent the most recent ones as we approach your arrival date.
All businesses are required to conduct a Health and Safety Assessment in respect of Covid-19. We can confirm that we have done that we are open with these new rules in place.
IMPORTANT Paying your balance will constitute your agreement to these new rules.
Three days prior to your arrival we will send you an online health screening questionnaire which we require you to fill in and submit before you pay your balance please.
You must not travel to us if you or anyone in your household feels unwell and is showing any symptoms of COVID-19 in the days leading up to or on the day of your arrival. Please notify us as soon as you can so that we can manage your booking. During this pandemic, we are prepared to be much more flexible with our cancellation policy and in these instances will be happy to credit any fees paid to a future stay.
Your arrival time will be 4.00pm (or after). Please vacate the property no later than 10.00am on the day of your departure. This gives us a little more time between stays for the extra cleaning required.
Please bring your own towels.
We apologise that we are unable to provide you with our usual welcome pack of basics such as tea, coffee, milk etc so come prepared with your own. You could also pre-order a delivery from our onsite shop which you can pay for with your balance. This will be left in the cottage for your arrival.
BBQ (on a stand) if you think you might want to use one. The garden furniture will still be available for you.
If, during your stay, you start to develop symptoms, then please call 111 and follow their instructions. Do not come to the shop or approach any member of staff. You will not be able to self-isolate here and must return home without delay.
In this instance, call us to say you are leaving because of illness and any outstanding fees will be credited to a later stay. We ask that anyone who believes they may have COVID-19 whilst here or within 14 days of their departure to email us soon as they are able – (this email is monitored all the time).
Following lockdown, the cottage water system has been completely flushed through and the shower head disinfected with chlorine tablets for the prevention of Legionnaires’ disease.
The cottage will have been thoroughly cleaned and then treated with an anti-viral spray via a fogging machine applied to all surfaces including curtains, carpets etc. before your arrival. Be assured that this is a food-safe product.
There is a hand sanitising point at the entrance to the cottage and a cleaning kit and spray inside for you to use wherever and whenever you can.
We have removed some of the soft furnishing items such as throws, cushions and downstairs rugs to reduce risk of transmission of the virus. We have also removed any surplus crockery and cutlery, our visitor’s book and local information leaflets. If you would like any information on the local area, please ask a member of staff or take a look at these pages on our website:
We have removed the BBQ that we would normally leave available for you.
Please vacate the cottage by no later than 10.00am.
On the morning of your departure please strip your beds and put everything in the bags that are provided.
Please put kitchen tea towels in the plastic bag provided.
All kitchen dishcloths and sponges are to be disposed of in the general rubbish.
Please clear all your recycling and rubbish from the cottage and put into the bins provided.

Should you choose to visit our farm shop these are the conditions that are in place.
The Shop will be open seven days a week 8.30am – 6.00pm and all customers must adhere to the social distancing rules in place which include limited numbers in the shop and 2m queuing outside.
It is mandatory for customers going into the shop to wear a mask.
Parents, please do not send children to the shop on your behalf as they will not be permitted into the shop on their own.
Please use contactless card payments whenever possible.
The Farm buildings and yards are part of a working environment so we ask that you avoid these areas to help keep our staff safe. The animal paddock will be open if you wish to see some of the animals.
Bookings are taken in good faith that we will be able to accommodate you. However, because of the current fluid situation, we reserve the right to make changes to our T&Cs and/or postpone your booking subject to government guidance, advice or regulation. In these circumstances, we will happily credit any deposits and fees paid to another booking at a later date.
